Vivian Atsumi Stewart

   Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my blog/podcast! I’m Vivian (she/her). I’m currently studying history at the University of Oxford. A few years ago, I created this blog/podcast while studying classical trumpet at the Juilliard Pre-College Division in NYC.

At the time, I had been studying the ancient Indian language Sanskrit in addition to my musical pursuits. I was profoundly inspired by the spiritual insights in ancient Sanskrit texts like the Mahābhāratam, as well as great classical works by Mahler and Beethoven. In my free time, I enjoyed posting articles about the interesting of music and spirituality, and its potential impact on politics and culture.

Since then, in addition to my academic studies, I have started my own YouTube channel - 'Vivi Atsumi'. My video-essays on YouTube blend personal reflection with a keen exploration of global perspectives. Please do check it out! It's my favorite creative outlet at the moment.
